San Diego

San Diego

We leave for San Diego next Thursday - 6 days from now.  This will be our first extended hotel trip with the kids.  My husband is hesitant about traveling with the kids so its up to me to make sure this goes well.  If not, we'll never go anywhere again.

I've planned our week out, interspersing busy days with more relaxed ones.  Sea World is the big event and we're going for two days.  I figured that way, we don't have to try to cram everything into one day.  I have to avoid overly tired, whiny kids.

I'm hoping the hotel I found is as nice as it sounds.  We have two rooms separated by a French door.  Two TV's.  That should make things more relaxed for everyone.  The hotel serves a complimentary, hot, breakfast and has a swimming pool.

Things left to do:  I want to do some more Sea World planning - what shows are at what time and what day we're going to see them.  The more planning, the less anxious my husband is.

Pack!!  I will not, will not, will not, leave packing until the last minute!

Call my Grandmother and confirm when we're seeing her.  Visiting my grandmother, who's over 90 and still lives semi-independently, was the original reason behind the trip.

I'm sure my "to do before we leave" list will grow longer in the next few days.
